9000nm, 580mW QCL Overview:

This Fabry-Perot Quantum Cascade Laser emits 9µm at up to 580mW output. The sealed HHL package has an optical output window and features an internal TEC to regulate the laser diode temperature. The package must be mounted to a temperature controlled heat-sink in order to keep the laser within the safe temperature range. The threshold current is about 730mA, and the maximum operating current is ~1600mA. The maximum operating voltage is 11.9V. These high power Fabry-Perot quantum cascade lasers are available over the MWIR and LWIR spectrum. They are ideal for a wide array of sensing applications.
