1578nm 10mW DFB Laser Overview:

These 1578nm lasers offer an output power of 10mW in a standard 14-pin butterfly package. These lasers offer a wide operating temperature range as well as the option of a SMF-28 fiber pigtail or PM fiber. The most common applications include use in sensor development, methane gas detection, and external modulation. These devices can be either "free floating" from the metal housing or pin compatible with standard SONET OC-48 devices. The forward voltage is 2 volts for these devices, and the spectral linewidth is 10MHz.
