Product Overview:
1064nm DFB Laser for Narrow Bandwidth Fiber Lasers, Frequency Conversion & Spectroscopy Applications:
These II-VI Laser Enterprise wavelength stabilized distributed feedback grating (DFB) laser diodes are high stability, narrow line width single mode laser diode light sources for pulsed narrow band fiber lasers and direct frequency conversion applications. The device chip and packaging are both optimized for pulsing applications in the nanosecond and sub-nanosecond range. They are specified to deliver short pulse modulation with pulse widths as small as 100 picoseconds. The 100 ps pulse performance is achievable in gain switching regime and using a pulsed driver designed to deliver picosecond pulses. They are laterally and longitudnally single transverse mode when being pulsed. These diode lasers The coupling efficiency of the fiber to the laser provides highly stable output power as well as high peak power in pulsed and CW modes of operation. Several key features of these DFB's include a center wavelength tolerance of ± 2 nanometers and an internal TE heat pump and monitor photodiode. These devices are offered in a hermetically sealed 10-pin mini-butterfly package. They come with a Nufern PM980-HP or Fujikura SM98 (or equivalent) PM single mode optical fiber pigtail.
