Product Overview:

These 1550nm laser diodes from Frankfurt Laser Company are DFB laser modules. They are designed for OC-192/STM-64 applications with external intensity modulator and probe light source.The polarization maintaining fiber pigtail of this model enables to directly connect a modulator without polarization control. The polarization state of output laser beam is maintained to a consistent orientation. These 1550nm strained multi-quantum well DFB laser diodes are integrated with an optical isolator, a thermoelectric cooler (TEC), thermistor and PIN photodiode in a hermetically sealed 14 pin butterfly package. Custom configurations are available various power outputs, and discrete wavelength options. These laser modules comply with telecom requirements described in Telcordia TM GR-468 requirement and manufactured in an ISOTM9001 certified production line. The model is suitable for OC-192/STM-64 transmission systems, probe light source, and other applications.
