Product Overview:

1560.584nm DFB Laser Diode with PM Fiber:

Offering 20mW CW output power, the LC155CDC is a wavelength stabilized DFB laser suitable for deployment in high speed, DWDM applications with 50 GHz channel spacing.

This DFB laser offers a single frequency emission profile and can be tuned by current and/or temperature to adjacent ITU grid wavelengths. This laser is manufactured by Nortel. The original manufacturing part number is LC155CDC6060-20. This laser has a distributed feedback cavity design and is offered in a fourteen pin butterfly package. This DFB has an integrated TEC, a 10K temperature sensor and an MPD (monitor photodiode). It has an output power up to 20mW. The butterfly package has a PM fiber pigtail and an FC/PC connector.

Proper Handling and Operation of DFB Lasers:

DFB laser diodes are highly susceptible to damage from ESD and from temperatures exceeding their specified safe operating range.
