Product Overview:

1064nm DFB Laser:

These II-VI Laser Enterprise butterfly packaged lasers deliver up to 200mW of CW mode output power, up to 400mW of long pulse (200 nanosecond PW) output power, and up to 800mW in short-pulse (< 20 nanosecond) mode. These devices are ii-vi part number CMDFB1064A. They are specified with a center wavelength of 1064 nm ±2 nm. The package is a 10-pin mini-butterfly package with internal thermistor, thermoelectric cooler, and monitor diode. The laser is coupled to Nufern 980-HP polarization-maintaining fiber with a mode field diameter of 6.6 µm. A DFB grating located in the laser cavity provides wavelength stabilization and a single frequency emission profile . The laser chip and package are optimized for sub-nanosecond pulse operation. Processes and techniques for coupling the fiber to the laser provide high peak output power that is very stable against both time and temperature.
