Product Overview:

These 375nm laser diode modules were designed to deliver excellent beam stability and reliable performance in research applications. They offer high power stability and wavelength stability as well as excellent beam structure and pointing stability. The temperature is precisely controller by a TEC controller which is integrated with the current source that drives the module. The precision temperature control and the low noise current source combine to achieve stability levels of power stability <0.5 %.

Integrated Protection for 375nm Laser Diodes:
These modules are offered in a self-contained high reliability enclosure which includes a LASORB fail-safe protection device. The LASORB is a passive component which offers a combination of the properties of a resistor and a capacitor. It is placed in series with the Nichia laser diode to protect it against power surges in the forward or reverse direction. The current range required to bias the diode is preset and calibrated prior to shipment. The user can adjust the power from 0 to 70mW. The units ship standard with a low cost OEM type power supply which is a current conditioner, as well as the AC/DC converter. The modules can also be purchased with a fully integrated bench-top controller which has a front panel interface and control know for power and temperature.
