Product Overview:

These 405nm scientific series laser diode modules were designed to deliver very high stability in research laboratory environments. These multi-transverse mode sources deliver output power of 1.2 Watts. They are based on a Nichia model NDV7375E laser diode. The Nichia 9.0 mm TO-can package is mounted on a cooled mounting plate inside the housing. The TO-Can package also includes a Zener diode to protect against ESD and reverse transients. In addition to the Zener diode, these modules offer an integrated LASORB protection component on the drive current board which clamps and blocks voltage and current transients. They are shipped with a factory set limit on the power supply bias current to the laser, and also a limit for the operating temperature range in order to offer maximum protection for the Nichia source laser.

Power Supply Options:
These high power 405nm sources ship with a pre-configured OEM power supply unit. This is included at no additional charge. The OEM power supply requires a standard 5V DC power supply in order to set the amplitude of the light output. These units can also be purchased with a bench-top controller that has a front panel display as well as an adjustment knob for fast, simple user control. The front panel displays current and temperature set-point.
