Product Overview:

These 488nm scientific series laser diode modules offer excellent power stability, beam structure, and pointing stability. They are based on a Nichia source laser. The Nichia source is packaged in a 5.6mm TO-can and mounted onto a cooled mounting pedestal in the laser housing. These units come with a pre-set current limit to protect the source laser. They also ship with a pre-set temperature limit to keep the laser running in a safe temperature window. They are designed for a wide range of applications. These modules are offered in a self-contained high reliability enclosure which includes a LASORB fail-safe protection component and they deliver user adjustable power > 50mW. They come standard with a DC laboratory power supply, or can be purchased with a fully integrated bench-top controller with front panel interface.
