Product Overview:

These laser diodes are single frequency DFB lasers with up to 6mW of optical output power, coupled to polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber. These devices are centered at 760.9 nm and are offered in a fiber-coupled, 14-pin butterfly package. They also offer a thermistor, monitor photodiode, and thermoelectric cooler. These lasers are tunable and RoHS compliant. Applications include oxygen detection, spectroscopy, and metrology. Lastly, these lasers are sensitive against optical feedback, so an optical isolator may be required in order to avoid any disturbance of the emission spectrum. Operating at moderate temperatures on proper heat sinks will contribute to a long lifetime of the diode.
