Product Overview:

These DFB lasers offer up to 40mW of output power at a wavelength of 795nm. They come in a 14-pin butterfly package with a collimated lens output and integrated μ-Isolator. Included are also a thermistor, thermoelectric cooler, and monitor diode. Primary applications include Spectroscopy (Rb D1 line) and metrology. Lastly, these lasers are sensitive against optical feedback, so an optical isolator may be required in order to avoid any disturbance of the emission spectrum. Operating at moderate temperatures on proper heat sinks will contribute to a long lifetime of the diode.
