Product Overview:

These 915nm/940nm multimode pump laser diode modules from JDSU / Lumentum are offered in a fiber coupled, high reliability L4 package. These 4900 series devices offer a high output power of up to 10 Watts from a small footprint fiber coupled package. They ship with an SMA connector and a 1 meter fiber pigtail. A key to their long life and long term reliability is a simplified thermal management architecture which is achieved by distributing the diodes (heat sources). This facilitates the use of water or air cooling of the package. These devices were designed to be cost effective pumps for the multi-mode pump market. Key applications include fiber laser pumping, materials processing and graphic arts.
