These 940nm laser diodes from QD Laser Japan are quantum well lasers offering high output power. These devices are offered in an industry standard 5.6 mm (TO-56) can packaged header. They offer Monitor Photodiode. These Fabry-Perot LD's offer 280mW of optical output power at 940 nm. They offer a high slope efficiency and lateral multi-mode operation. There are two types of pin assignments: anode common type and cathode common type. These devices are classified as Class 3B laser product, and comply with 21 CFR Part 1040.10. Semiconductor lasers are easily damaged by external stress such as excess temperature and ESD. Please pay careful attention when handling semiconductor laser products, and use within range of maximum ratings.
