Product Overview:

These 3SP Technologies devices offer center wavelengths at 976nm and 974.5nm These devices are used in terrestrial amplifiers and are a fully Telcordia qualified pump source for amplifiers. These modules are based on 3SP in-house wafer fabrication and chip foundry technology. These are high power laser chips which are internally designed and developed. They are offered in a low profile, epoxy-free, fourteen pin fiber coupled butterfly module. They provide power up to 430 milliwatts. The wavelength is locked to the center frequency by utilizing a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) which is located in the single mode HI1060 fiber (SMF) pigtail. The module meets GR-468 core requirements for hermetically sealed 976nm pump modules. Extensive lifetime and accelerated aging tests during product development ensure long MTTf and reliable performance in the field. These modules provide excellent stability and a wide dynamic range.

Integrated Features:
These devices incorporate a thermoelectric cooler, a precision 10K NTC thermistor and a back-facet monitor (BFM) photodiode. They are RoHS compliant and typically ship on a 3 to 4 week lead time. They are manufactured by 3SP Technologies and fulfilled by Laser Lab Source in select regions.
