1060nm Laser Diode, 5W Output Power Overview

These High Power 1060nm laser diodes are Fabry-Perot cavity type devices which deliver up to 5W of optical output power. They have an internal monitor photodiode to allow the user to operate them in a constant optical power feedback mode of operation. They have an operating current requirement of < 6 amps and are offered in a high head load TO type package.

Proper Handling and Operation of Diode Lasers

Diode lasers are highly susceptible to damage from ESD and from temperatures exceeding their specified safe operating range. The user is advised to use care and proper ESD safety practices when handling them to avoid damage to the laser.
