1470nm, 2000mW Laser Diode High Heat Load Package Overview

These 2W laser diodes operate at a center wavelength of 1470 nm, ±10 nm. They deliver CW optical output power up to 2 watts and have a specified operating current of 5.5 amps, with a forward voltage of approximately 1.2 volts. Temperature control is provided for with an internal TEC and temperature sensor. They have a threshold current of 900 mA and spectral width (FWHM) of < 8 nm.
