Product Overview:

These broadband, high power 1480nm superluminescent LED semiconductor lasers (SLED's) generate a broad band at higher drive currents relative to other conventional SLEDs, which are often ASE-based. These SLED devices offer low coherence which reduces Rayleigh back scattering noise. They offer a large spectral width, and their design improves spatial resolution (in OCT) and measurement sensitivity in sensors. These high power 1480nm superluminescent LED's are available in a 14-pin butterfly package. They are in compliance with the requirements of Bellcore Document GR-468-CORE. They are enabled by DensePICTM spread spectra bandgap engineering technology.
