Product Overview:

976nm, 10W Laser Diode Source with Pre-Configured Control Unit:

These 976nm, 10W laser diodes are offered with an all inclusive pre-configured control system. They offer a complete plug and play solution for R&D applications or product integration. These units offer the user a pre-tested solution which includes a high reliability single emitter 10 Watt laser diode source. The source is installed into a control system which has a high power current source and high efficiency TEC temperature controller. The base of the control unit has a fan for heat removal. The laser mounting plate is configured for the fiber coupled laser diode module. The mounting plate rests on top of the thermoelectric cooler (Peltier) element. The waste heat from the 10W laser is dissipated through the Peltier and out removed from the control unit by the integrated fan. The top clamping plate offers the user the flexibility to change the laser source in the future by loosening the plate and replacing the laser. This control system is a convenient, high performance solution for biasing and temperature stabilizing multimode pump lasers.

High Performance Air-Cooled 10W Laser Diode Control Unit:

The CCM control unit It is a high stability laser driver with a bias current range up to 13 amps and compliance voltage up to 23 volts. The integrated TEC controller keeps the laser temperature stable and removes heat from the source. The TEC controller, Peltier element and fan combine to keep the 10W pump laser at a constant set-point temperature and protect the laser from over-heating. The laser which is installed into the control unit can be replaced by loosening the top clamp and installing a new laser. The CCM control system high power laser diode driver can be used in CW mode, but is also capable of deliver QCW pulses to the laser. The pulses are generated internally by an on-board pulse generator, or can be provided by an external analog modulation signal. This compact control system has been fully optimized for OEM integration into your laser system.
