Product Overview:

These cooled narrow line width 1550nm laser diodes are offered in a butterfly package with a single mode fiber pigtail and and FC/APC connector. These devices are based on an ECL design with a built-in fiber Bragg grating. They offer up to 10mW of very stable CW performance and a very narrow spectral line width of < 200 kHz. They are based on an InGaAsP/InP MQW gain chip coupled with built-in fiber Bragg grating design. They are specified with a minimum side mode suppression ratio of 45 dB and are offered with an internal TEC cooler and a 10Kohm thermistor. They are frequently used in chemical sensing applications and emerging LiDAR applications. They are also designed for telecom 155 / 622Mbps operation as well as OTDR instruments.
