Product Overview:

These DFB lasers are single frequency lasers with 80mW of output power. These devices are centered at 780nm and are offered in a hermetically sealed butterfly package with collimated lensed output. Applications include spectroscopy, THz Generation and Rb Spectroscopy (Variant ...-0005). They also come with a thermistor, thermoelectric cooler, and monitor photo diode. Lastly, these lasers are sensitive against optical feedback, so an optical isolator may be required in order to avoid any disturbance of the emission spectrum. Operating at moderate temperatures on proper heat sinks will contribute to a long lifetime of the diode.
