1310nm Coaxial DFB Laser Overview:

These 1310nm lasers come in a 5.6mm TO style package with an SMF fiber pigtail. They are also available with an integrated thermistor for advanced temperature feedback. These devices are also ROHS compliant, uncooled, and hermetically sealed. A wide operating temperature range, low distortion characteristics, and low RIN noise are also key features of these devices. The most common applications include analog transmission, CATV Forward-path, and use as a highly linear light source in long reaching transmissions. The RIN is typically less than 145 dB/Hz, and the spectral width is 1nm. These devices have a tracking error of only 1dB as well.
