40mW Output DFB Laser Overview:

These 40mW lasers come available in a variety of wavelengths ranging from 1528nm to 1560nm. They have a threshold current of 30mA and an operating current of 450mA. These lasers come in a standard 14-pin butterfly package. An SMF-28 fiber pigtail is available as an option, as well as PM fiber. The most common applications for these lasers is in CATV external modulation, DWDM, or long distance fiber optic transmission. They have an advanced multi-quantum well (MQW) and distributed feedback (DFB) design.
