1555nm | 12mW | DFB Laser
These CW light sources are distributed feedback lasers (DFB). Features of these devices include a wide array of applications, and the option of both high power and narrow linewidth models. These lasers offer an output power of 12mW. The attached device data sheet references high power and narrow linewidth options that are available. There are multiple applications referenced for DFB laser devices. Some of the key applications are tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy, also referred to as TDLAS. A second market is telecommunications, which includes both WDM and DWDM requirements. DFB laser devices are also used in testing and measurement products which require the precision and reliability of semiconductor laser sources. Use in fiber optic sensors as well as near infrared gas analysis is also common for these DFB lasers. For more information on these lasers, please contact NEL Japan.
