5260nm DFB Laser, QCL with 140mW Output

5260nm Distributed Feedback MWIR QCL Overview:

This distributed feedback quantum cascade laser (DFB-QCL) generates 5.26µm light at up to 140mW. The chip is mounted vertically in a sealed high heat load package, and emits vertically from the package through a window. The package must be mounted to a temperature controlled heat-sink for optimum stability and reliable long-term operation. The maximum drive current of the laser is 0.45A, with a threshold current of approximately 0.31A. The operating voltage is 13.3V maximum. These DFB Quantum Cascade Mid-Wave IR Lasers are available up to 10.38µm for sensing chemicals in hazardous materials, gases, and liquids. A variety of package types are available to meet different application requirements.
