7.43µm Mid-IR DFB Laser, QCL Overview:

This DFB Quantum Cascade Laser emits single-frequency light. The sealed HHL package features an optical output window and includes a TEC to stabilize the laser diode temperature; an external heat-sink and temperature control is necessary to keep the laser operating within a safe temperature range. The DFB waveguide provides single-frequency output, with SMSR of 30 dB. The maximum operating current is ~650mA, with a threshold current of 270mA. The maximum operating voltage is 10.2V. These DFB quantum cascade lasers are available over the full MWIR spectrum, and are the ideal tool to apply to identify chemicals, gases, and liquids in trace amounts.
