Two common application areas are solid-state pumping and graphics. Other common uses are laser display, medical, dental, industrial, and defense.

Some general ratings from the data sheet are as follows for the 15W series: wavelength of 808 nm, a spectrum of 2 nm, operating power of 15.0 W, operating current of 15.5 A, and operating voltage of 2.5 V.

General packaging is standard c-mount and thick c-mount. There are more sub-mounts available upon request.
