Product Overview:
1480nm, 120mW, Sumitomo Laser Diode
1480nm pump laser diode, with 120mW output through 900µm fiber pigtail. The fiber is approximately 6" (150mm) in length, with no connector. The laser is excess-stock, new-in-box, and includes datasheet and test data.
Proper Handling and Operation of Laser Diodes:
Laser diodes are highly susceptible to damage from ESD and from temperatures exceeding their specified safe operating range. The user is advised to use care and proper ESD safety practices when handling them to avoid damage to the laser. A properly rated low noise current source, a low thermal resistance mount and a temperature controller should be used for optimal device performance and reliability.
